STEPS Rehabilitation -responds to the need for a dedicated residential and day rehabilitation facility for neurological conditions, stroke, spinal cord injuries, acquired brain injuries, orthopaedic and other complex trauma injuries.
For inpatient stay there are 23 modern and spacious bedrooms each with their own ensuite wet room and can be specifically adapted for different levels of independence.
STEPS provides residential packages of intensive rehabilitation within an enabling and positive environment. The average length of stay will depend on the injury or condition.. The maximum length of stay would usually be no longer than 12 months.
Each client rehabilitation plan includes a unique combination of therapies and medical treatment based on their individual needs. There is an onsite hydrotherapy pool, large therapy gym and 3 skills kitchens. Steps rehabilitation provide neuro physiotherapy, muscular skeletal physiotherapy, occupational therapy, neurologic music therapy, speech and language therapy and neuro psychology.
