Theraband Exercises for Knees

 Knee Extension (sitting)

Attach elastic to a chair leg

Sit with elastic around your foot knee at 90 degrees

Straighten the knee

Release and repeat

Knee Extension in lying

Half sitting or lying

Put the loop of the elastic around the foot

Hold the rest of the elastic

 Straighten out the knee

Release and Repeat

 

Knee Flexion ( Lying face down)

-Attach the elastic to a secure object at foot level

-Attach the other end to your foot

-Start with the knee straight

-Bend the knee as far as you can

-Release and Repeat

Knee flexion in sitting (Hamstrings)

Attach the elastic to a solid object in front of you and around the foot/ankle

Then bend the knee towards the floor
