Take the plunge!

A water workout is huge fun and a great cardiovascular workout. It strengthens and tones the muscles by using the resistance of the water.

Water can also be used to loosen stiff joints and can be used straight after joint surgery.

All of this within a weightless environment so there is no pounding on your joints.

Do not worry if you cannot swim as you can either stay in the shallow end or be given a buoyancy aid.

Most pools have Aquarobics classes so you can enquire at your local leisure centre.
